3. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Personal data stored in WDC's customer registers is used for managing customer relationships, informing about services, marketing purposes, and developing/planning the company's services and other operations or similar purposes.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

• Right of access
  The data subject may request to inspect the personal data we have stored.

• Right to rectification
  The data subject may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

• Right to object
  The data subject may object to the processing of personal data if they believe the data has been processed unlawfully.

• Right to prohibit direct marketing
  The data subject may prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing.

• Right to erasure
  The data subject may request the deletion of their data if processing is no longer necessary. We will process the deletion request and either delete the data or provide a justified reason why the data cannot be deleted.

Please note that the data controller may have a legal or other right to retain certain data. The data controller is obliged to keep accounting records in accordance with the Accounting Act (Chapter 2, Section 10) for 10 years. Therefore, accounting-related data cannot be deleted before the retention period expires.

• Withdrawal of consent
  If the processing of personal data is based solely on consent, and not on e.g. customer relationship or membership, the data subject may withdraw their consent.

• Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority
  The data subject may demand restriction of the processing of disputed data until the matter is resolved.

• Right to complain
  The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if they believe that we have violated applicable data protection legislation when processing personal data.

6. Regular Sources of Data

Personal data is collected directly from the customer when establishing the customer relationship, as well as from the controller's systems via online forms for services. Data is also updated from authorities or other service providers to ensure accuracy.

7. Regular Data Disclosures

Data is not generally disclosed outside WDC or its member companies for marketing purposes.

8. Data Retention Period

Personal data is mainly processed as long as the customer relationship is valid. Data subjects can unsubscribe from our marketing list themselves via a link included in each marketing email or by sending a message to info@whitedream.fi.

9. Data Processors

The data controller and its employees process personal data. We may also outsource part of the processing to third parties, ensuring through contractual arrangements that personal data is handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws and appropriately.

10. Transfer of Data Outside the EU

Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union or European Economic Area.

11. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
